This was an appeal by Blaine Stark of a decision of the Deputy Director of Wildlife, which cancelled Mr. Stark’s hunting licensing privileges and made him ineligible to obtain a hunting licence until after January 1, 2002.

Mr. Stark failed to appear at the hearing for the appeal, which was scheduled for 9 am on January 25, 2000, at the Coast Canadian Inn in Kamloops, B.C. Furthermore, Mr. Stark made no attempt to notify the EAB office, the Coast Canadian Inn, or the Panel of any problems with his attending on the time and day set down. Therefore, the Panel ordered that the appeal be dismissed as abandoned.
