The Appellants requested an adjournment of the scheduled appeal hearing on the grounds that their counsel would be unavailable for the hearing.
The Board was satisfied that the counsel for the Appellants had a legitimate issue which would prevent him from representing the Appellants on the scheduled hearing date, and furthermore, that there was no one available in his firm to take over conduct of the matter.
Therefore, the Board found that an adjournment was necessary for a fair hearing of the matter.
