    Summary

    Decision Date: September 9, 2004

    Panel: Alan Andison

Keywords: consent order, hunting licence, suspension

Patrick Dolan appealed a decision of the Deputy Director of Wildlife to suspend Mr. Dolan’s hunting licence.

The Deputy Director felt the penalty was appropriate but agreed to consider that Mr. Dolan had refrained from hunting since the time in 2000 when the events leading to the suspension had occurred.  The Deputy Director agreed to amend the end date of the suspension.  With the consent of the parties, the Board ordered the period of suspension reduced and added a requirement that Mr. Dolan complete the Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education examination prior to the reinstatement of hunting privileges.
