The Deputy Administrator issued a multi-year permit to Slocan Forest Products Ltd. (Slocan) to apply the herbicide Vision in the Valemont area of B.C. by aerial spray or back-pack sprayer. Robson Alternatives to Pesticides appealed the permit and requested that the Board grant a stay against the use of the permit.
The Board granted a stay to take effect after September 8, 1995 since it was found that there was no evidence of irreparable harm to Slocan if the stay was granted after that date.
