Josef Kanka appealed a decision of the Deputy Director of Wildlife cancelling Mr. Kankas hunting licence and prohibiting him from obtaining a hunting licence or hunting for two years. Mr. Kanka advised the Board that he would be available for a hearing on a certain date and was served with a Notice of Hearing.
The Hearing was called to order on the scheduled date. Mr. Kanka was not there. After waiting for one hour and finding that there were no messages from Mr. Kanka at the hotel where the hearing was situate, the Panel declared the appeal dismissed as abandoned.
